- The Emperor pub dates back about 300 years, it was first known as “The Brickmakers Armsâ€, this changed to “The King of Prussia†at the end of the 19th century. During world war one it was changed to “The Emperor of India†and is believed to be the only inn with this name in the United Kingdom.

- At the beginning of the century, it was shortened to “The Emperorâ€. Known in the area for it’s a beautiful garden, this walker-friendly pub is minutes from the scenic Burnham Beeches. We are a “well behaved dog†friendly pub with space in the bar area and gardens. We also have a heated gazebo for those not so warm days.
