My 6 years of experience tutoring maths. Amongst many assignments, I tutored tens of GCSE students after school with The Tutor Trust. These students feared they would fail their GCSEs. They lacked confidence and understanding of the concepts. But they were willing to work hard! They improved greatly through our sessions. All they needed was encouragement, regular attainable goals and personalised conversations going to the heart of their misunderstandings. - My unconditional love of mathematics and its teaching. I’ve happily spent hours and hours helping fellow university coursemates through homework and revision. I even talk about maths to my friends and family (sometimes against their will).
